Elegant Wedding At The Surf Hotel In Buena Vista, Colorado

We had such a blast helping Ali and Kyle plan their Colorado wedding at the Surf Hotel In Buena Visa, Colorado. Bueno Vista is such an amazing wedding destination in Colorado and we love to plan weddings there. The venue provides such a gorgeous base for decorating and designing our client’s wedding ceremony and reception. As wedding planners in Colorado we absolutely love when clients allow us to go wild with all the little details and boy did we! Planning a wedding doesn’t just start with the ceremony and reception. The planning begins from our clients getting ready and ends with their grand exit at the end of the night.

We decided to have custom cookies, charcuterie boards, and champagne waiting in the Bride and Groom’s suite and it was the cutest touch. For the ceremony we decided on a large hexagon arch from our rental inventory and decided that loading it with florals and heavy greenery would be the perfect ceremony backdrop for Ali and Kyle’s ceremony. We then lined the ceremony aisle and entrance with heavy floral with bold pink dyed pampas grass and other dried elements. We finished off with a custom acrylic sign we made and a copper sign stand to hold it. For the reception we moved the arch from the ceremony to behind the sweetheart table to really draw all eyes on our bride and groom. We then had custom plates designed for the bride and grooms place setting specifically. For the guest tables we decided on simple gorgeous floral arrangements (and check out the chandeliers with the hanging greenery, WOW), acrylic table numbers, black chargers with blush pink menus. For the guests find your seat board Ali choose an acrylic sign to keep the flow with our copper sign stand and then at each place setting were macrons for the guests to find their seats.

At the Dj station we added fun acrylic signage and even a flip flop station for the ladies to hit the dance floor with. The little details throughout this wedding were a blast to design and the venue’s simple and elegant space allowed us to really get creative with their wedding day design.
